Picnic at the park
We decided to grill out at the park on Saturday night and called my parents at the last minute to join us. Can you see Baylor's pig tails? We love that her hair is finally long enough again to do them.
This girl loves to slide...she just keeps going up and going down over and over again

The kids both enjoyed the watermelon

School's out for Summer
This week marked the end of another school year. Otter Creek always has a big Popsicle party for all the kids. Next year Baylor will be there too and Christian will be in the Kindergarten...hard to believe, I know!!
Kobi, Christian and Macy enjoying their Popsicles
Can you tell what color Cole and Christian had?
Hailey and I worked on a last minute, but still very thoughtful gift for Mrs. Fisher. She has a fabulous backyard with tons of trees and plants so we decided to add to it with a pretty Crepe Myrtle (picked out by Caitlyn and her daddy) that will someday bloom pink flowers. We added some notes from all the parents/children and some spending $$ for her trip to Alaska. She LOVED it and we had fun making it for her.
The kids all getting one last big hug. We have loved Mrs. Fisher and she has done so much for Christian this year. We'll miss her, but are anxiously awaiting what the next year has in store for us.

Last class
We have still been doing our Music class every week--This was our last one until Fall. It never ceases to amaze me how much my kids get out of this. They both LOVE Mrs. Rachel and the friends they've made in class. There are two little girls we normally go to lunch with afterwards. It is good to take a break sometimes...Mrs. Rachel just made us promise to still do music with them at home. That's not a problem for us b/c my kids love to have music on all the time:) I've recently introduced them to my favorite band. They like to ROCK OUT to Bon Jovi. You'll have to see it b/c it is so funny...we hope to video it soon.
The kids all played the Gathering drum at the beginning of class

Destin 2008 with the Shipps
Here is our silly girl on the way to the beach
Ruby and Baylor knew where to cuddle up
I wish I could say we did this...there were two very determined men who worked on this thing for hours. They did two more over the course of the week
Ruby needed a little cat nap to make it through the morning

We had so much fun playing on the beach with our friends
These Mamma's look pretty good to have two kids
Baylor started out this way each time we came to the beach...all she wanted to do was sit in her chair
I love these two pictures! Lila and Christian watching the waves and Preston and Ruby just hanging out by the water
It didn't take Baylor long to warm up to the whole sand idea

Would a trip to Destin be complete with out dinner at Fudpuckers? We had a yummy dinner and the kids enjoyed playing in the little kids area. So much in fact that Lila didn't want to bother leaving to go potty...she just stood in the middle of everything and let it go. Jeff and I laughed and laughed...Preston and Sherisse will find the humor in it in a few weeks:)
The alligators didn't seem very hungry so we just watched other people waste their money trying to feed them
Christian was so tired that he promptly fell asleep as we were pulling out of the parking lot!!!

The kids all loved the pool...it was a little cold for my taste, but they didn't care
Ruby and the boys chillin' on the side
Baylor fell in love with Lila this week!!! She followed her around everywhere and for the most part Lila just let her do everything she did
The pool had a fun mushroom fountain thingy...Christian liked getting sprayed
Go Lila Go

Preston and Sherisse being sweet when they think no one is watching...I love this picture

Mim, being the awesome Sister/Friend/Aunt she is, came over to babysit for us on Friday evening. We all enjoyed having no children and they enjoyed being with her. Ruby can get very upset when Mommy is not around, but it took her a full hour to even notice we were gone. Mim ROCKS
The kids were able to decorate cookies with these neat food coloring markers, watch DoodleBops and just have fun
Ruby was concentrating
All set for our last day on the beach...is she a cutie or what?
Ruby wasn't in the mood to get her picture taken that morning

Mim and Travis enjoyed the beach with us the next day
Here are the kids decompressing after a long day playing in the sand
This is how Baylor slept for almost 2 hrs on the way home...she wanted to block all of us out as you can see. I had a mild concern for her breathing, but figured rest was better than screaming!!
Christian zoned out to his movies
This is how we are spending our first day home...we are all tired and Mommy is recovering from her sunburn. No pictures, but just imagine me very red and in pain. I was so worried about the kids and forgot about myself...I did reapply, but not soon enough I guess
