Baylor went poopy on the potty!!!! I don't know why both my kids choose to do this first, but they do. She was so proud of herself and of course we were too. She has tried before with no success. Tonight she wanted to try and we always encourage so we went back to the potty, had a BIG stack of books and waited. I left her alone for awhile and came back to check on her...she showed me one of her princess books and inspiration struck. I asked: Do you know that Cinderella and Snow White go poopy on the potty? Do you want to be like the princess'? She asked if Aeriel and Jasmine did too and I assured her they did. I left alone for a little while longer and came back to success!!! I could hardly believe my eyes. Of course we shouted for Daddy and KayKay to come look (Tex was at the barn), grabbed my camera and the phone. The pic below is her telling Nana.
Way to go Baylor
(I'm under no illusions that this means instant potty training, but it's a start)

Last Week
Jeff's work had a family night at the Predators. We decided Baylor would only be interested for a few minutes so we left her at home w/ KayKay. This was the first game I had been to with Christian and he was fun to watch. You can see both my boys watching intently below...
Baylor can get some looks...I really wonder what she is thinking in this one
Mim was here last week!!! Christian showed off his reading skills, we did a little shopping and watched her begin a cross stitch project (Christian was very interested in how that all worked)
The best part of the visit was one night when Mim randomly started singing Stayin' Alive with one of Baylor's care bears...random I know, but the kids LOVED it. We downloaded on the computer and they had a big dance party. Now Baylor wants you to sing 'ah ah' with her care bear everyday:) We miss you Mim!!

First off these are the two most beautiful boys I have ever seen. Their eyes is what gets me every time...Can you see why I'm in love?
We spent an entire day at the Space Center Houston. Many of you know that Christian says he will be an astronaut when he grows up so what better way to spend part of our trip. NASA has set up a whole museum/activity area for people to visit. We also took a tram tour of the facilities that the astronauts and other NASA employees use. To say Christian was in heaven the entire time is almost an understatement. He was not only learning about his dream, but had Mommy and Daddy all to himself!!! (Baylor hung out w/ Ninny, Sam and KayKay) He was soaking in every ounce of information he heard, saw or was read to him. We love seeing him so happy when he is really engaged into something. His dream may never become a reality, but I'm not going to be the one to tell him that. He is smart and enjoys school so who knows what he might do someday:)
Be prepared for a lot of pictures...

The three of us in the warehouse that holds one of the old restored rockets...it went on forever

Here Christian had to move this special chair around and try to hit buttons and spin wheels when they lit up.

This is what happens when you spend your whole day learning about your future profession

Texas '09
We spent the first part of our Spring Break in Houston visiting my family. They have been here a few times, but we had not visited there since Baylor was 5 or 6 months old...That is just pitiful. Anyway we went for a few days and had a great time visiting. We never get to spend as much time with them as we'd like, but we always have fun!!

Mom and Dad took a business trip to Mexico and met us in Houston. They bought the kids their own sombreros. Pretty funny, huh?

Spring Program '09
OC had their Spring Program just before break. Each class did their own section and then did a few things together. Baylor's class sang "Warm up time", "I'm a little Teapot" and did some nursery rhymes. Just imagine 12 little two/three year olds 'tipping over and pour me out' :)
Above is Baylor's best little friend Caroline and below is the whole group in the Finale
The whole group sang "Rise & Shine", "This is the Day", "Jesus loves the Little Children" and "O Children do you Love Jesus?"
Miss Julie and Baylor
such a sweet little face
