A LOT OF NEW POSTS SO KEEP ON SCROLLING

Gifts

Here you see Christian carrying flowers that are as big as he is:) We bought them for KayKay b/c she has a corner of her deck she's trying to fill with flowers this summer. She really liked them
Here is my stash:) The kids gave me the little flower pots for us to water and watch some little plants grow. The big card laying in the front is the booklet Christian made at school and to the left you can see his hand print. I received very sweet cards from my sister and parents and some new make-up:)
This is the cutest little box I have ever seen. Nana took a picture of the kids from the blog and had it put on here...way cute. Thanks Nana
And Jeffery bought me this cute necklace from a website a friend from Lipscomb has started. Several people at church have them too, but mine is different b/c most only have their kids on it and Jeff didn't want to be left out so he had her add his initial too!
It was a great Mother's Day and not b/c I got some cool gifts, but because I had the time to listen to my sweet children say "I love you Mommy". That is the most priceless thing I could ever receive.

Time with our Mothers

After church we went to lunch with my mom at the Brentwood Country Club. I think half of Brentwood was there with us...much more crowded than usual. Here I am with my sweet kiddos My mom is so stinking cute!!! I love her so much and I'm so thankful they have moved here to be closer to their grandkids. I know they were the main draw, but I get the benefits too:)
We met Nana, Papa and Uncle Jeremy for dinner before heading to evening services at their church. (they were honoring the graduates and Uncle Jeremy was included even though we have to wait til August to officially declare him graduated) The original plan was to meet at the park, but it was soooooo cold yesterday. I mean we thought about getting our winter coats out kinda cold. The wind was crazy and it did not feel like a day in May! You can see the pretty flowers we bought Nana on the table
This is what we listened to the entire way to meet Nana...I do mean the entire 45 min drive!! Baby girl was not happy and she let us know it
As soon as we arrived and got her out of her car seat she was fine...which we find a little frustrating. This girl can throw a fit!!!

Quick Trip

The kids, KayKay, Tex and I went to and from Mam-ma's on Friday...It's a little over 2 hrs there. We met at Cracker Barrel for a yummy lunch and then it was on to her house. They have a new puppy named Susie that the kids enjoyed meeting. Baylor was able to lead her around on a little leash which she thought was the funniest thing--she did not want Susie licking her though
Christian took her out for a run. They were so cute and fell all over each other in all the excitement
Pap-pa always enjoys showing off his new animals. Here we are on our way to see the baby goats
Aren't they cute?
All in all it was a great trip, just tiring. We don't get to see enough of Mam-ma and Pap-pa so I'm glad we were able to see them this weekend

Mother's Day Picnic

Thursday we had a 'picnic' at Mrs. Fishers house. She said this was the first time in the 30 years she's been doing this that it has rained!! She had a beautiful yard that the kids ran in anyway, a trampoline they loved to jump on and a nice covered porch that all us moms hung out on. The kids worked hard at putting our lunch together and making yummy treats for dessert. They brought us lunch in little baskets and we sat on the porch together to eat. They each helped make our sandwiches and put yummy fruit and broccolii salad in there too.

Here is their class picture complete with umbrella:) Christian and Cole on the trampoline
The three amigos
and we always get the kids picture so today I decided us mom's needed one TOO. These are just two of the amazing mothers in my life...I don't know what I would do without friends like these to lean on and share all this craziness of life with
Here Mrs. Fisher is helping the kids pass out our gifts...a pretty book that they colored and drew for us. Christian did a pretty good picture of me and said he loves me because I play 'memory' with him, watch movies, make him oatmeal, put him to bed and I love him:) They also made us precious little handprints in plaster. They were all so proud of all they did to make this picnic special

Our little Karate man

Christian has been working really hard every Monday and Wednesday for the past two months. He really wanted his yellow belt and he finally got it last week. He tested at the end of April...he had to show Master Baek his 4 basic kicks, blocks, count in Korean and BREAK a board with his hand!! I was so impressed when he did this. He struck it with the palm of his hand and it only took two tries:) You can see the board below It took a little while to get the belt in, but now he can wear it proudly...in fact he did wear it to church Wednsday night because he was so excited to finally have it:)
Master Baek is so good with the kids...he's firm and expects a lot, but he can also be playful and fun. I think that's why they all work so hard for him. He teaches them to respect others and themselves...he talks about Eye Focus, Mind Focus and Body Focus...they are also learning a lot about patience which we could all use more of:)

If you are the least bit interested in your child taking Karate talk to me. We have seen incredible progress with Christian's confidence and he just has fun with it.
We are proud of you little man!! Keep up the good work and remember how much we love you

Friday Night Dinner

I'm a little behind on this one...the Shipps and the Daniels came out to my parents house a week or so ago for dinner. We are having so much fun having all these people come and having an excuse to hang out:) The Shipps were too cute in their pink and brown combo
Sweet Finley even got the memo in her cute outfit...she loved this stroller and pushed it around for a long time
The Wii was of course part of the fun...Becca killed us at Tennis. Her and Nathan are so cute:)
Mom normally doesn't make an apperance in this post...Thanks for having so many of our friends out. We have just as much fun with you guys and we like to show off our cool parents:)
