They can be so cute

Baylor wanted her brother to read to her yesterday They looked so cute all cuddled up in the chair
Several people have been mentioning how much the kids look alike...sometimes I see it sometimes I don't, but when they are in the same position like this is when I see it that most

I guess it's official that Baylor is a girl

I know you are saying that should be no surprise, but I was surprised this Monday when she suddenly spiked a fever and pointed to her bottom screaming when she peepeed.

She fell asleep on the couch for about 45min at 10:30am...that was my first clue that something wasn't right. I took her temp when she woke up and it was 104' and then the screaming started. She was pointing to her bottom and I thought she probably had some diareha, but it was just warm from where she had recently gone pee. I asked her if it hurt and she said (in her most pittiful voice) "YEAH"

After talking with the nurse, we decided she needed to be seen and that they would need a urine sample NOT AN EASY TASK from an un-potty trained two year old. The nurse suggested that I place saran wrap under the seat and catch it that way. We sat on the potty for TWO hours: reading, singing and sleeping {you read that correctly}. Baylor fell asleep on the potty resting her head on me who was sitting on a small stool in front of her for about 20min:) AND finally the smallest amount of liquid gold was there. We rushed it to the office (she fell asleep again on the way) and they tested it to find that she most definitely had a severe UTI. They said the quickest way to get her better would be an antibiotic shot:( Oh how she screamed!!! We had to wait around the office for 20 min after to make sure she didn't have a reaction. All told we left the doctor an hour and half after we entered. We finally were able to get back to KayKays house (she feel asllep on the way there too) to pick up brother...they had graciously taken him to Karate and brought him home after.

We went back to the doctor this morning to get an oral antibiotic that we will take twice a day for seven days: It took 4 attempts of gagging & spitting to get the first dose in her so we'll see how the rest of the week goes. It finally went down with brother holding her hand and an M&M being popped in as soon as she swallowed. Just rereading this has made me tired so you are a trooper if you read this far...I hope my girl is better soon

We have to eventually go to Vandy for some tests to make sure there are no serious issues with her kidneys/bladder

More time with Nana & Papa

After lunch we walked around the State Park. I love this picture of Jeff walking with his kids on either side...it makes my heart smile It's always hard to get BOTH looking at the camera at the same time
Our self timer shot on the bridge
Papa and Christian
And who should we run into at the play?!?!? Marshall and his Gran (or as we know her Ms. Fisher)!! It was such a surprise and a nice distraction since the show started close to an hour late b/c of electrical trouble!! These two have been in class together since they were 2 and will go onto the Kindergarten in the fall:)

Time with Nana and Papa

We spent Saturday and Sunday in Crossville. Nana heard that The Cumberland County Playhouse was doing a live Peter Pan show. We were a little worried that Baylor would not sit through it but she did great. The show really was good and we all enjoyed spending the weekend together.

Nana got Baylor a sweet little bunny and purse. Baylor carried around her 'Rabit' the rest of the weekend The boys hanging out in the Condo. Nana and Papa are members of Fairfield resorts and we always stay in one when we travel with them:) This one had a tub big enough to swim in!!! we didn't get a chance to try it
Night night Christian. This was when the process started anyway. It was at least an hour before the kids really settled down. They are not used to being in the same room. Nana apparently had a late night party with them around 3 or 4 in the morning...Jeff and I slept right through it all. Thanks Nana and Papa for giving us the big bed:)
Yummy...Nana brought cinnamon rolls for breakfast

Friday Night Dinner

This past Friday my parents had the Greens and Laytons over for dinner. We were all excited about the evening, but it promptly turned it to a downer for one family. Not even 5 minutes after arriving poor Caroline threw up and Mary Ann had to take her home:( Caitlyn begged to stay and Jeff ended up driving her and her daddy home later. Below I tried to get a group shot at dinner...these kids weren't even still while they ate!! They all were way excited to be together and were crazy all night long Paisley and Caitlyn
The men all played a round of golf on the Wii. It was funny to watch them all get into it
I tried to get the kids still on the couch too...it was close
Xander and Tara

We had fun catching up and can't wait til the next time...we missed you Caroline and Mary Ann

A first...

Christian, Jeff, Papa and Uncle Jeremy went to the Predators game last night. It was Christian's first game and he was SO excited. He spent all afternoon asking me what time it was. This morning he told me he liked watching the people on the ice and when they made a goal. Jeff bought him some foam 'fang fingers' that he is wearing all over the house Aren't my boys cute in their jerseys?
I think I scared Baylor when I came around the corner to take her picture. Don't all you women do your cleaning in a ball gown and heels?
And I just thought this was cute. She loves playing with brothers stuff...she has no clue what she's doing but likes it b/c its Christian's!!!
