Enjoying a pretty day

Christian has had his motorcycle for awhile, but we are just getting to an age and place he can really ride it well. I'm sure they aren't supposed to ride like this, but they look way cute doing it!!!



The weather is so crazy in middle TN that you can have snow one day and beautiful sunny days later in the week. I bought Baylor a jeep at our OC consignment sale and the kids were dying to test it out.

Sherisse's Shower

I was honored to help throw a shower for one of my bestest friends a couple weeks ago. Sherisse is having her third baby and after 2 girls she's getting a BOY. She claims she is not going to know what to do, but she's such a good mom she'll figure it out pretty quickly. Tressa helped with the shower too...she read some very sweet pieces of advice to Sherisse and big sister Lila who was in attendance. I read "Love you Forever" and prayed.

Sherisse said she enjoyed herself and it was a special time for those who could be there. Now we are just waiting for the little guy to make his arrival.

A Snowy Sunday

We had some snow last week and enjoyed playing outside. (This was in between sickness for Christian) The kids are really getting to a point that they play so well together...when they want too.

and a nap!!!

We have been sick and there just doesn't seem to be an end in sight. Two weeks ago Baylor woke up in the middle of the night throwing up, but seemed fine the next day. Knock on wood that continues. Christian missed almost a week of school with Strep Throat and a rash that accompanied it. Now he is laying in bed with another high fever and we still haven't finished our first round of antibiotics!!! I too am recovering from Strep that Christian was kind enough to share with me. It had been a long time since I had such a sore throat and IT HURT. Apparently the strain that is going around is a pretty bad one and Christian would not be the first to not recover in just one round of antibiotics or to succumb to something else. Kids have been dropping like flies in schools all around here--one sweet girl in his class fainted b/c of her fever:(

We are ready for some better days around here. hope they come soon...

Nana's Birthday

We met Nana and Papa at Olive Garden on Valentine's Day to celebrate her birthday on the 15th. She brought the kiddos some little treats...above she is helping Christian put on his "Happy Valentine's Day" pin and below you can see Baylor sporting some new jewelry

Just before Valentines Day we went to lunch w/ some of our friends and then ended up back at Macy's house to play. We were all trying to take advantage of those warm days:) Not all the Mommies were there, but all the kids had fun
