The evening of the fourth was spent at Lipscomb University with tons of friends, but minus Baylor. She woke up that morning with a fever and spent the evening with KayKay. We still had fun...there were several jumpy things for the kids to play on and yummy food to eat. Christian and Lila are the best of friends

4th of July at The Club

Mom and Dad have been nice enough the last two years to treat us to fireworks at the club the day before the 4th. They serve a Pasta Buffet and have yummy ice cream treats to eat. Then you just hang around waiting for it to get dark. I saw several people I knew and caught up with them...I told Dad I felt like I was him b/c he usually finds someone he knows no matter where we go.
Nana made this super cute outfit for Baylor!! She does confess to having to redo a few steps along the way, but the outcome was definitely worth it. Baylor loved her pockets:)

Watching the Fireworks was lots of fun with Christian this year. I wish we had videoed his running commentary...'Oh wow' and 'that was awesome' 'Look Mommy, that was big'

Baylor DID NOT enjoy the Fireworks one bit...she cowered in KayKay's lap and covered her eyes and ears the whole time. At one point mom wondered if she had gone to sleep b/c she wasn't moving a muscle, but I think she was just too scared to move
