Family day with an Apache

The last Friday in June was Family Day at Ft. Rucker for the Apache class. We were able to meet some of Travis' classmates, climb all over one of the helicopters and sit in on one of their briefings. It was a long hot day, but we enjoyed getting to see a little bit of what Travis does on post. He is almost done with his traning and they will be moving to Savannah in a month.
Wrestling with Travis is always part of the fun too

Mim and Travis gave the boys these shirts for Christmas...it was not planned to be wearing them, but they sure looked cute.
Baylor wasn't sure what to make of all of it...
On the other hand, Christian LOVED it. He had to look at everything and try to figure it all out

Baylor is so over doing any more pictures
The whole crew...Travis' mom, dad, nephew Canyan, really close friend Jackson, KayKay, Tex, Mim, Travis and us
The boys were given some shells that an Apache had shot
Dad and the crowd watching them fly and shoot
Unfortunately there were some maintenance issues and Travis never flew that day. We watched several others fly around and shoot at some targets.
The rest of the families left on Saturday morning, but we stayed to hang out an extra day. We drove out to Dothan for a little shopping, a movie and dinner. This is Baylor being super silly in the car.
Is this boy cute or what? I'm sure glad he's mine:)
Christian loved hanging with Uncle Travis
So sweet...your days in Enterprise on numbered:)
Christian and his new 'hat'

This is what the kids and I did for a couple hours on the drive home. It's amazing how much better time you make when they aren't asking to stop all the time...Thanks to Jeff for driving that long road all by his lonesome:)
