Christian also got to pick wherever he wanted to got to Lunch that day and we all met Daddy at the Chick-fil-a in Cool Springs. Afterwards we went back to Tex and KayKay's to put together something very special...we all had a little hand in it, but MIM did most all the work and had the blisters to prove it
Baylor got a big girl bed to have at KayKay's!!! It is a pretty princess one with a canopy on it. As you can see in the pics she wasn't all that thrilled with it at first, but now she loves it. She runs in there every time we go over just to make sure it's still there:)

And these two lovebirds often get overlooked since their Anniversary is the same day as their Grandson's Birthday. They went out on a date that evening to the Wild Horse Saloon downtown. Not really sure why but Mom loves going there so off they went. They have been married 35 years and although I know it hasn't always been easy they sure make it look that way:) They are both good models for Jeff, me, Travis and Kim...we all want to have the communication and understanding they seem to have with each other.

By the way: After putting together the bed, us girls watched P.S. I Love You. If you haven't seen it yet you need to!!! It was such a good movie and they don't make too many of those anymore.

The morning of his actual birthday Christian got his present from us. A HUGE Darth Vader Transformer that becomes the Death Star. (If you are not into Star Wars you have no idea what this is) He has wanted it since January and we made him work for it somewhat...He had to work on his 'homework' (workbooks e bought him) so many times a week. It was a long road but he made it and was so happy when he opened up his present!!
Above as Darth Vader and below as Death Star...It will probably never be a complete circle ever again b/c that this is HARD to do!!
And what visit from Mim would be complete with out a pedicure? Baylor always stays so still for Mim:)
And they both love to play airplane w/ her too

Christian's Buzz Lightyear Party

Christian loves all things space so it wasn't much of a stretch to have a Buzz Lightyear/space party. We decorated KayKay and Tex's basement with an inflatable solar system and a star backdrop. He was so excited and couldn't wait for all his friends to be there. Family was apart of the affair too so below is our group shot minus Uncle Travis--we missed you:( Baylor has been attached to Mim since she got here...she chooses her over me which is saying a lot since she normally wants Mommy for everything
Here's the birthday boy waiting on his party to start...Nana ordered the cool banner and KayKay/Tex provided the wonderful spot. You all helped me so much and I can't thank you enough
