Christian has earned his blue belt...he took his test right before Thanksgiving and proudly sports his new belt now. He has to work hard and sometimes doesn't really want to, but he sticks with it. His teachers are demanding, but still playful and the kids respect that and WANT to work for them. This is his fifth belt for those keeping track. We are very proud of him.

Go Christian Go

Christian tested for his Orange Belt last Saturday morning. We missed the official testing day last time so this was a first for us. All students who are ready test (at various levels) show up to test together. Master Beck lined them up by color and did all the pre stretching they normally do--the whole group went through some basics together and then he started testing each group together. Yellow belts were the second group to go and Christian looked so small compared to the grown man beside him...you can start at any age so that means Christian can be younger or older than people at his skill level. They went through their counting, blocks and kicks together-than Master Beck tested them individually. Christian did well and will receive his Orange belt in another week or so.

No testing would be complete without a board breaking He broke it with the side of his fist this time and after a couple attempts he snapped right through it!!

The really amazing thing to watch were all the higher levels...my boy is going to learn some crazy things:) I just know I wouldn't want to fight him in a couple years
